Course Summary:-
Whether you are an individual or a large company, the Work at Height Regulations impact upon your work procedures and methods whilst at work. ALL operatives working at height must be competent, which includes an understanding of the equipment they are using to work at height. The PASMA Standard Operator’s Course is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 12 delegates at a time, and is aimed at anyone in your organisation who assemble, alter, dismantle, move, inspect and most importantly USE Alloy or Fibreglass Mobile Access Towers in the work place. This not only includes construction sites but all work places, such as Schools, Offices and Factories both internally and externally. This course is available as an Open Course at our Training Centres in Southend and Chelmsford, or On-Site (subject to suitable conditions).
How Much Will it Cost?Training courses are run for groups of 3 to 12 people at a cost of £125 per person, plus VAT. Discounts are available for larger groups, as follows:-
The training day starts at 8.15am and finishes at approximately 4pm.
Course Content
The aim of the PASMA training course is to ensure personnel are trained to a high level of competence to carry out inspections, create safe systems of work and to understand employees’ responsibilities.
What Do I Need to Bring?
You MUST bring Safety Boots/Hard Hat/High Visibility Vest, Weather Protective Clothing (ie. Fleeces, waterproofs, windproof, etc.). We will also require details of your National Insurance number.
Where Does the Training Take Place?
Training can be undertaken at our fully equipped Training Rooms at both our Southend and Chelmsford Depots, where the appropriate equipment is supplied by us.

How Do I Book?
We run Open Courses throughout the year at both our Southend and Chelmsford Training Centres. These courses are designed for both individuals and companies that require training but do not have sufficient numbers to train.
Certification
Upon course completion, successful candidates are issued with a PASMA Training Identity Card and certificate as personal proof of competency. Certification is normally valid for a period of 5 years, unless otherwise stated, and re-certification can be achieved through our refresher course.
