Our PASMA tower training is carried out to customer demand, subject to the availability of our Instructors. We normally run at least one PASMA mobile access tower training course per week. The majority of our training is carried out at our Southend Training Centre; however we are happy to accept bookings for 3+ delegates at our Chelmsford Training Centre. On Site/Out of Normal Working hours training is also available (minimum 5 delegates).
We currently employ three fully qualified PASMA Instructors and will do our utmost to meet your demands. If you cannot see the course that you require on our Booking Calendar, please do not hesitate to telephone our Training Line on 01702 561818 to discuss your needs. Where Does The Training Take Place
We have two IPAF/PASMA Approved Training Centres based at Southend, Essex and Chelmsford, Essex. The majority of the training takes place at our Southend Training Centre as this is a larger facility with three fully equipped training rooms and dedicated areas (both indoors and outside) for the practical assessment to take place.
Delegates that attend PASMA tower training at one of our PASMA Approved Training Centres will be shown two methods to erect the tower; the 3T (Through The Trap) method and the new Advanced Guard Rail (AGR) method.
Alternatively, training can be carried out On Site (quotations available upon request/minimum 5 delegates). We are happy to bring along a tower, free of charge, for the practical session, provided that a Parking Space can be made available for our Instructor. Alternatively we will use your own tower provided that it meets the PASMA criteria and you have a User Manual available. (Please let us know the make/model of the tower to be used).
PASMA do stipulate an Indoor Height requirement of 6 metres for On Site training, this is so the practical session can be carried out inside in the event of inclement weather. If it is not raining, and not too windy, we will be happy to carry out the practical session outdoors. Click here to find out more about our on site training requirements .
On Site training is normally subject to a mileage charge of 40p per mile from our Southend Training Centre (SS4 1ND). Course Joining Instructions Southend Training Centre
