Our IPAF MEWPs for Managers course is designed to address the needs of managers and supervisors in preparing for and safely coordinating the use of various types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) within their control, including scissor lifts, self-propelled boom lifts, vehicle mounted booms, trailer mounted boom lifts and aerial work platforms.
There are no pre-requisites to the IPAF MEWPs for Managers course, although a working knowledge of MEWPs is an advantage. Successful delegates will gain an understanding of current relevant legislation and best practice guidelines on a range of MEWPs, be able to carry out a pre-use inspection and most importantly use MEWPs safely and in-line with current approved methods and manufacturers’ instructions.

Our one day IPAF MEWPs for Managers training course is designed to address the needs of managers and supervisors in preparing for and safely co-ordinating the use of various types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) within their control, including scissor lifts, self-propelled boom lifts, vehicle-mounted booms, trailer mounted boom lifts and aerial work platforms.

Our IPAF MEWPs for Managers training course has a maximum class size of 8 delegates and consists of a minimum of 7 hours of classroom-based instruction. The course is delivered by IPAF accredited Mark One Training Instructors and delegates will receive the IPAF MEWPs for Managers PAL Card upon successful completion of the course.
REFRESHMENTS will be supplied on all 1 Day training courses held at our Training Centres, lunch will not be provided at this time.

Delegates are required to bring their own safety boots and hard hat.
Account Customers will be charged to their monthly account. Non account customers will be required to pay by debit or credit card at the time of booking the course, either via our website or over the telephone. There are no additional booking or credit/debit card charges. Payment by bank transfer is also possible upon request.
Our charges include the cost of official certification. Certificates and Identity Cards (as applicable) are posted out to the bill payer (not the delegate), on receipt of full payment. All successful delegates are issued with a temporary pass certificate at the end of the course, apart from the SPA Core Construction. Candidates that pass this course will receive a Certificate, once the course has been logged onto the SPA database.

Any amendments to a booking will be subject to a £25 + VAT administration charge.
