Mark One Training prides itself on providing five star training at our training centres across Essex run by a training team with over 80 combined years experience in the training industry.
Mark One Training started as a need to train our own staff in our parent businesses that provides powered access hire and tool hire. Starting off with one trainer we soon expanded to provide training to every type of business and now we have a team of trainers who can provide accredited training across a number of courses including IPAF, PASMA, First Aid, Forklift, Health and Safety and more.
We are happy to provide on-site training across the United Kingdom and we are happy to discuss any bespoke training requests to help with any training requirements that you may have.
Our friendly and knowledgeable training team are here to make your experience with Mark One Training comfortable, informative and easy. They will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have about our training courses.
Simon Old
Simon has worked at Mark One for over 12 years, originally as a driver, before moving into the training side of the business. He enjoys helping people of all abilities to achieve their goals and is a very patient and approachable instructor.
LES SALMON
Les comes from a plant and construction background and has worked for Mark One since 2008. He has an extensive list of courses that he can cover.
MATT HEADLAM
Matt joined Mark One in 2016, he comes from a Hire background where he used to hire a variety of access equipment to customers, before moving over to Training. He enjoy’ s teaching delegates from different industries and backgrounds and hearing their own experiences in the workplace.
STEVE JONES
Steve started working for Mark One in 2005. After 3 years he trained to become an instructor. Steve finds it very rewarding when training delegates who are inexperienced or nervous and they achieve the level required. He, also, enjoys learning information from delegates when they share experiences relevant to the subject being taught.
BILL PURKISS
Billy Joined Mark One in 2020, with an original background in banking. He made a move over to Mark 1 Hire with the goal of becoming a trainer. Now, having achieved this, Billy enjoys sharing his knowledge, experiences, and techniques with delegates to help them continue to work in a safe and effective way.
WENDY TIPPER
Wendy joined the Team in May 2015 to help cover the additional workload within our Training Department, before progressing on to her current position.
Samantha Rawlinson
Joined the team in July 2021 to help cover the additional workload within our Training Department.
Kyly Ballinger
Joined the team in July 2022 to help cover the additional workload within our Training Department.
