Traffic Marshal Training

Our half-day Traffic Marshal course is designed to support organisations in meeting their legal safety obligations and reduce the risk of costly accidents when carrying out common but dangerous reversing manoeuvres on site. It is ideally suited to any person responsible for assisting in the manoeuvring, loading and unloading of vehicles and will instruct delegates in the safe passage and reversing of any vehicles on site.

To complete our Traffic Marshal course all delegates must have a good command of the English language in order to communicate effectively during practical manoeuvring tasks.

Our Traffic Marshall training course has a maximum class size of 12 delegates and covers both theory and practical exercises. The course is delivered, certified and accredited by Mark One Training.

• The role of the Traffic Marshal / Banksman
• Safe passage and reversing of vehicles within a site
• Issues arising from reversing vehicles

• Lunch is not provided at this time

Delegates are required to bring safety boots for this training course. High visibility vests will be supplied at our training centre.

Payment Terms

Account Customers will be charged to their monthly account. Non account customers will be required to pay by debit or credit card at the time of booking the course, either via our website or over the telephone. There are no additional booking or credit/debit card charges. Payment by bank transfer is also possible upon request.

Certification

Our charges include the cost of official certification. Certificates and Identity Cards (as applicable) are posted out to the bill payer (not the delegate), on receipt of full payment. All successful delegates are issued with a temporary pass certificate at the end of the course, apart from the SPA Core Construction. Candidates that pass this course will receive a Certificate, once the course has been logged onto the SPA database.

Cancellation Charges

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please notify our Training Team as soon as possible by calling 01702 561818 (lines open 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday).

Any amendments to a booking will be subject to a £25 + VAT administration charge.

Cancellation charges are as follows:

Between 24 – 48 hours from start of course	£50% of the course cost
Less than 24 hours from start of course	75% of the course cost
Non-arrival on the day of the course	100% of the course cost

If You Are Running Late

If you are running late on the day of the course, please call your relevant training centre as soon as possible so that your instructor can be informed.

Southend Training Centre - please call 01702 545454 and Choose Option 1 to speak to a member of staff on the Hire Desk. The Hire Desk is open from 7.30am and staff will be able to relay a message to your instructor.
