Our PASMA Towers for Managers course is designed for managers and supervisors who are responsible for overseeing the work of operatives on site to ensure that mobile access towers used for working at height are properly planned and organised and that those involved on site are competent and properly trained.
There is no prerequisite for this course, although a working knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and mobile access towers is an advantage. Delegates will gain an understanding of the legislative framework around the use of mobile access towers, best practice guidelines and the role and responsibilities of managing work at height activities with mobile access towers.

PASMA Towers for Managers — One‑Day Course Overview
Our one‑day PASMA Towers for Managers course is designed for site managers, supervisors, safety officers, or directors responsible for overseeing teams using mobile access towers. You’ll gain the knowledge to plan, manage, and assess tower work, without needing to climb or assemble them, while making sure your team meets legal and safety standards.
After completing the course you’ll be able to make sure working at height is properly planned and organised and that those involved on site are competent and properly trained.

Assessment & Certification
This PASMA managers course features a theory assessment with an 80 percent pass mark required to qualify. On successful completion, you’ll be issued a PASMA PhotoCard and certificate, showing your manager‑level (“M”) accreditation, which are both valid for five years.
Course Format
No Personal Protective Equipment is required for this course.
Account Customers will be charged to their monthly account. Non account customers will be required to pay by debit or credit card at the time of booking the course, either via our website or over the telephone. There are no additional booking or credit/debit card charges. Payment by bank transfer is also possible upon request.
Our charges include the cost of official certification. Certificates and Identity Cards (as applicable) are posted out to the bill payer (not the delegate), on receipt of full payment. All successful delegates are issued with a temporary pass certificate at the end of the course, apart from the SPA Core Construction. Candidates that pass this course will receive a Certificate, once the course has been logged onto the SPA database.

Any amendments to a booking will be subject to a £30 + VAT administration charge.

Do I need prior experience or qualifications?
This course is suitable for those new to overseeing tower use, as well as existing managers renewing their credentials. You don’t need prior experience, but some Health and Safety knowledge may be useful.
How many people will be on the course?
The maximum is 12 people to ensure each person receives individual attention and support.
What should I bring to class?
THe PASMA for managers course is a classroom course, so you don’t need PPE.
How do I book, and when do I get my PASMA card?
You can book online. You’ll receive a temporary certificate on the day, and the PASMA card and certificate follow via the TowerSure app.
Is there a practical assessment involved?
This course is fully theory‑based, with no tower climbing or assembly required, just a written test.
How long does the qualification remain valid?
Your PASMA card and manager-level certificate are valid for five years from successful completion.
