PASMA Towers For Managers

Our PASMA Towers for Managers course is designed for managers and supervisors who are responsible for overseeing the work of operatives on site to ensure that mobile access towers used for working at height are properly planned and organised and that those involved on site are competent and properly trained.

There is no prerequisite for this course, although a working knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and mobile access towers is an advantage. Delegates will gain an understanding of the legislative framework around the use of mobile access towers, best practice guidelines and the role and responsibilities of managing work at height activities with mobile access towers.

Our one day PASMA Towers for Managers training course is aimed at those who are responsible for overseeing the work of operatives on site to ensure that mobile access towers used for working at height are properly planned and organised and that those involved on site are competent and properly trained.

There is no prerequisite for this course, although a working knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and mobile access towers is an advantage. Delegates will gain an understanding of the legislative framework around the use of mobile access towers, best practice guidelines as well as the role and responsibilities of managing work at height activities with mobile access towers.

Our PASMA Towers for Users training course has a maximum class size of 12 delegates and is a theory based course. The course is delivered by PASMA-accredited Mark One Training Instructors and delegates receive a PASMA Towers for Managers certificate upon successful completion of the course.

LUNCH AND REFRESHMENTS will be supplied on all 1 Day training courses held at our Training Centres; however delegates with special dietary requirements should make their own arrangements for lunch.

  • Tower categories and components
  • Tea Break (Tea & Coffee provided by Mark 1 Training)
  • Assembling, altering and dismantling mobile access towers
  • Best practice relating to fall protection
  • Lunch (Not currently provided)
  • Inspection of completed mobile access towers
  • Completion of tower inspection records
  • Hazard awareness
  • Risk assessment and emergency rescue plans and provisions
  • Inspection, tagging and reporting

No Personal Protective Equipment is required for this course.

Payment Terms

Account Customers will be charged to their monthly account. Non account customers will be required to pay by debit or credit card at the time of booking the course, either via our website or over the telephone. There are no additional booking or credit/debit card charges. Payment by bank transfer is also possible upon request.

Certification

Our charges include the cost of official certification. Certificates and Identity Cards (as applicable) are posted out to the bill payer (not the delegate), on receipt of full payment. All successful delegates are issued with a temporary pass certificate at the end of the course, apart from the SPA Core Construction. Candidates that pass this course will receive a Certificate, once the course has been logged onto the SPA database.

Cancellation Charges

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please notify our Training Team as soon as possible by calling 01702 561818 (lines open 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday).

Any amendments to a booking will be subject to a £25 + VAT administration charge.

Cancellation charges are as follows:

More than 48 hours from start of course £25
Between 24 – 48 hours from start of course £50% of the course cost
Less than 24 hours from start of course 75% of the course cost
Non-arrival on the day of the course 100% of the course cost
If You Are Running Late

If you are running late on the day of the course, please call your relevant training centre as soon as possible so that your instructor can be informed.

Southend Training Centre - please call 01702 545454 and Choose Option 1 to speak to a member of staff on the Hire Desk. The Hire Desk is open from 7.30am and staff will be able to relay a message to your instructor.

Chelmsford Training Centre - please call 01245 399150 and speak to a member of staff on our Hire Desk. The Hire Desk is open from 7.30am and staff will be able to relay a message to your instructor.
