The IPAF Harness Awareness, User and Inspection (HA,HU HI) courses are aimed at delegates who need to be responsible for selecting or purchasing harnesses and for enforcing harness use within a MEWP, use a harness within a MEWP and to conduct harness Inspections. This is an in-person training course to enable delegates to conduct statutory inspections of Harnesses and Lanyards for use within a MEWP.

Our one day IPAF Harness Awareness, User and Inspection training course is designed for delegates who require an in-depth practical session with test, covering harnesses and lanyards
Our IPAF Harness Awareness, User and Inspection training courses have a maximum class size of 10 delegates and consists of both theory and practical elements. The courses are delivered by IPAF-accredited Mark One Training Instructors and all delegates receive an IPAF Harness inspection Digital certificate upon successful completion of the course.
Delegates seeking general harness training may wish to consider Mark One's own Harness Training course as a more comprehensive alternative to this IPAF Harness course. For further information and/or help on the harness training options available please call 01702 561818.

- Manage and supervise use of Harnesses and Lanyards for use in MEWPs
- Create safe systems of work for harness and lanyards use in MEWPs

- Conduct pre-use checks of harnesses and lanyards for use in MEWPS

Although not essential, delegates are encouraged to bring their own harnesses for the short practical session to ensure the correct fit and condition of the harness.
Account Customers will be charged to their monthly account. Non account customers will be required to pay by debit or credit card at the time of booking the course, either via our website or over the telephone. There are no additional booking or credit/debit card charges. Payment by bank transfer is also possible upon request.
Our charges include the cost of official certification. Certificates and Identity Cards (as applicable) are posted out to the bill payer (not the delegate), on receipt of full payment. All successful delegates are issued with a temporary pass certificate at the end of the course, apart from the SPA Core Construction. Candidates that pass this course will receive a Certificate, once the course has been logged onto the SPA database.

Any amendments to a booking will be subject to a £25 + VAT administration charge.
