Why should I choose Mark One Training?

We currently employ six Instructors and do our utmost to meet customer demand. Our Instructors are knowledgeable, experienced, reliable and flexible. Mark One Training invests in the team to make sure that all the Instructors have the knowledge and ability to best serve their delegates. Instructors attend regular training courses themselves to ensure that their skills are kept up to date.

How do I Pay?

All major credit and debit cards are accepted, apart from American Express.

How Do I Open a business account?

Simply download the online account form and send it to us at info@mark1training.co.uk. We will check your eligibility and we require a signature before the account can be opened.

Training

Does Mark One offer certified training?

Mark One Training is pleased to offer a range of training courses including IPAF, powered access, and PASMA, mobile access tower, certified courses. We also run various SPA Passport courses, as well as BAF Abrasive Wheels training and various NUCO First Aid courses.  We have two fully equipped IPAF and PASMA approved training centres in Southend and Chelmsford.

How do I find out more about training?

Do you offer Saturday training?

Yes, although our offices are shut on Saturdays we do offer training courses on a Saturday.

Do you offer on-site training?

Yes, on-site training is offered, subject to minimum numbers and on site requirements and will be subject to charges for Instructor travel time and mileage. Free quotations are available upon request.

When will I receive my Certificate/Identity Card?

Most training courses have to be logged online with the appropriate training body.  Once we have received the certification, it will be posted out to customers as soon as possible, and within the 30 day time limit of the Temporary Pass Certificates, which are given out for most courses.

Can I get my Certificate on the day of training?

Temporary Pass Certificates will be issued on the day of training to prove that you have been on the course and are merely awaiting your certification.

When will I have to pay for my training course?

Payment is due at time of booking for all cash customers. Account customers are charged to their monthly account.

What if I need to change my booking?

Any alterations to a booking will be subject to a £25 + VAT, fee to cover our Administration costs.  Within 48 hours of the training date, however, our cancellation policy will apply.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

You will be charged 50% of the total cost of the course if cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the date of training and 75% of the total cost if cancelled less than 24 hours before the day. Please note, if any delegates do not arrive on the day you will be subject to 100% of the total cost.

What if I am running late?

If you are running late, please telephone our Hire Desk on 01702 545454 to advise. Our Hire Desk is open from 7.30am and staff will be able to advise our Instructors accordingly. Please do not ring our Training telephone number as we do not arrive until 9.00am. Our Instructors may refuse entry to the course if you arrive too late to fully participate.
